We have two Managed Platform Services options available.

Platform Plus

PlatformEngineer-aaS: The Smart Start to Scaling

This service includes a lightweight, managed services element, granting you fractional access to a senior Platform Engineer (PlatformEngineer-aaS). This service aids in achieving early-stage operational maturity, perfect for organizations just initiating container adoption who are not yet ready for a full-scale managed service.

  • Goal Setting - work with you to define the desired platform SLA/SLO’s for your business.
  • Platform Tooling – we will assist you to rebuild/extend your container management platform (centered around Portainer + OSS tooling) to ensure sufficient observability, alerting, SIEM coverage, delivering a self-service portal for your internal users.
  • DevOps Assist – We will work with your development/applications team to help them to understand how to correctly configure CI/CD pipelines against the platform in the most effective manner.
  • Platform Engineering Assist – to ensure delivery of the SLA/SLO’s, we will ASSIST you so that you can perform the required platform engineering tasks to deliver a robust platform. This is a reactive service.

Platform Enterprise

Expert-Driven Container Management for Mission-Critical Apps

This premium managed service puts the Portainer team at the heart of your operations—as your fractional Platform Engineering team (PlatformEngineering-aaS).

We help you reach a 'capable' level of platform and technical maturity fast, combining proactive guidance with expert, on-call support. Your team handles day-to-day operations (L1/L2), while Portainer takes ownership of the heavy lifting (L3/L4) and overall platform responsibility.

The result? A high-performing, reliable platform that meets your SLAs and scales with your needs. Built for enterprises where containers aren’t optional—they’re mission-critical.

Includes everything in Platform Plus, plus:

  • On-Call – to ensure delivery of the SLA/SLO’s, we will be on call at a schedule that suits – 8x5, 24x7, 1 hour, or 4 hour response time SLA.
  • Platform Engineering – to ensure delivery of the SLA/ SLO’s, we will perform all of the required platform engineering tasks to deliver a robust platform, and perform continuous improvements. This is a preventative maintenance heavy focus.
  • DevOps – Working with your development/ applications team to help them to understand how to correctly configure CI/CD pipelines in the most effective manner.
  • Emergency Support – should service-impacting issues arise, we will provide the required engineering capability to restore service within an agreed SLA
  • RCA / Post-Mortem – if there are ever service interruptions (even minor), we will deep dive to uncover the root cause, so mitigation can be put in place to ensure no subsequent interruptions of the same nature.
  • Automation – We will strive to automate routine tasks, so as to reduce the administrative burden, increase consistency, and reduce delivery time
  • DR planning and Testing – We will constantly run validation tests against the platform to ensure that it can be recovered in the event of a disaster, with minimal downtime, and minimal ongoing impact.
