Making sure applications are properly networked within clusters is critical and Portainer makes it easy. For Docker, you can create and use additional bridge, overlay, or MACVLAN networks. For Kubernetes, you can configure and use Ingress and Load Balancers across the cluster.
This is done quickly and easily through the Portainer point-and-click interface
Portainer users can publish applications via a Kubernetes Ingress controller (reverse proxy). This additional functionality allows you to do a range of things including: define the http routes, rewrite headers, or perform SSL offload.
Publish your application via a Kubernetes Load Balancer (or Swarm Ingress). It enables your application to be globally visible across the cluster and any required load adjustments to be made.
Our goal is to make containers accessible to everyone by removing complexity though a simple to use GUI that does the heavy lifting for you.
